The Josephine was cut from a traditional Dutch house dress that dates back to the mid 20th century. Elegant twin diamond patterns pay tribute to the extensive quilting history in the Netherlands and can be found in most quilts of that time. The larger cotton weave gives a beautiful structure to the bow and brings out varied depths of color in the weathered fabric. Production of this tie is limited to the amount of material available on the upcycled garment.
